In an effort to retain my sanity as a 50-ish minute show took over two hours to buffer and load (pausing every line and a half), I screen-shot the best pauses.

book review :: gone girl

I just finished reading “Gone Girl.”

I really loved the pacing and the structure. The amount of foul language wasn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I’ll admit it actually was perfect for the characters. The writing was pretty brilliant, though. I wish I kept count of all the plot twists. I’d estimate 180329237.

Overall, it was extremely entertaining. I’m glad my book club didn’t choose it, though… we might have a riot on our hands. 

Happy 9 week birthday, Stella-licious!

After three weeks with Stella-Bear, she’s now 9 weeks old and over 8 pounds! She looooves to eat (like, fatty status) and she’s just fabulous. 

And lucky for her, (and us) she likes getting her picture taken:

We make her run laps around the tennis court in an attempt to get some of her feisty energy out.
